how does smoothglo work?

SmoothGlo™ uses two cutting-edge technologies, one after the other, to target different layers of skin and get rid of the visible signs of aging.

IPL Treatment: The first stage of SmoothGlo™ is an IPL (intense pulsed light) treatment. IPL uses different wavelengths of light to target specific areas of the skin. The light energy penetrates the skin and is absorbed by the abnormal pigment cells. This causes the cells to break down and be eliminated by the body.
RF Microneedling: The second stage of SmoothGlo™ is RF microneedling. This treatment uses radiofrequency (RF) energy to heat the skin and stimulate collagen production. The RF energy is delivered through needles that are inserted into the skin. This helps to tighten the skin and improve its texture, tone, and volume.

What to Expect After Treatment

There is no downtime with SmoothGlo™. You may experience some redness and swelling immediately after your treatment, but this will resolve within a few hours. You may also see and feel some small scabs, these are completely normal and will fall off on their own within a few days.

You can return to your normal activities immediately after treatment. We do recommend that you avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, and sun exposure for 24 hours. You should also use sunscreen when you are outdoors to protect your skin from the sun’s harmful rays.

When Will I See Results?

Many clients see immediate results after their first treatment. However, the full effects of SmoothGlo™ will be seen over a few weeks as collagen production is stimulated and new skin cells are generated.
